Welcome to St Andrew’s Church, Grafham in the Diocese of Guildford, Surrey
In response to new Government rulings, all church buildings are now closed.
As we find ourselves facing more stringent restrictions to keep ourselves and others safe it makes it even more important that we stay in touch in whatever way we can and continue to support and pray for our families, friends, neighbours and the wider world.
We continue to worship together in spirit.
SUNDAY EVENING PRAYER
Many of us will have lit a candle at 7pm last Sunday evening as a sign of Christ’s light and love in the world and also of our solidarity with each other.
I suggest that we continue to do so each Sunday at 8pm (as the clocks have changed) and perhaps pray together at that time.
This week let us pray:
God of compassion,
be close to those who are ill, afraid or in isolation.
In their loneliness, be their consolation;
in their anxiety, be their hope;
in their darkness, be their light;
through him who suffered alone on the cross,
but reigns with you in glory,
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.
